Maison Tulum Rooms

Maison Tulum is very charming and within a block of the main thoroughfare in Tulum near shops and restaurants. We loved the hammocks and seating areas on the upper terrace for guests and especially enjoyed breakfast at the attached cafe downstairs the two mornings we were there. We also enjoyed easy and safe parking on the street at the entrance to Maison Tulum.

I stayed at Maison Tulum for six days and will stay there again if I go back to Tulum. Guillermo is very attentive and works hard to keep everything in order. Maxi and Juan keep the place impecable. I loved having the coffee shop downstairs and there I had the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. I also loved being so closed to the center of town and ADO.

The room and the hotel was so colorful and eclectic! Guillermo was very nice and helpful switching a room for us (to get 2 beds) and holding our bags after we checked out. We did think the Continental breakfast would have been more than the yogurt and toast in the room, however the restaurant onsite made us a very delicious breakfast (extra cost but competitive prices!). Definitely would stay here again. Loved the vibes! Thank you!

Maison Tulum is a charming, unique and convenient, small hotel in the heart of Tulum. Well managed by Guillermo and Flora, they helped us make our 2 1/2 days in Tulum very memorable. Loved having the breakfast and lunch Cafe within the hotel. Had some of the best dinners recommended by Flora, all within walking distance.

This hotel is within walkable distance to restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and as pictured. Property was arty & unique.

Beautiful and full of old fashioned Mexican charm

When i pulled down the sheets to sleep their was a live bug that i killed and other dead ones. I wouldnt recommend this place snd the owner when u let them know they think ur lying and blow it off. Their is no excuse for bad hospitality. Yes after i told them they had the place reinspected and still said i was lying because they disnt fund anthoing

Very creative and artistic hotel and grounds.

The hotel is in a terrific location, close to shops and restaurants and not far from the Archeological Zone and the beach. The place has a well-tended, beautiful courtyard, which is lush with tropical plants and fish, and is very tranquil.

It was a charmingly decorated informal place with a large comfortable bed in a large room. A very good breakfast was available in the attached restaurant.

The hotel is very cute and colourful, well located in Tulum town. The person running the place day to day was very friendly and helpful, sorting out some initial issues (air conditioning) to our satisfaction.

Close to ADO, interesting place

The property is insanely beautiful, all built up by the fantastic owner. The area is safe and quiet and close to downtown Also the breakfast was AMAZING

This place was extremely charming. Guillermo, the staff member who greeted us upon arrival, was friendly and kind and helpful. It was extremely conveniently located within easy walking distance of the local ADO bus station, which made things much easier for us. AC worked well, mini fridge in the room was helpful. Very beautiful plants, friendly cats, good location. Very clean and felt very safe.

The hotel is really cute, full of art made by the owner. The bedroom was comfortable.

There was no other property that Chad the same feel as maison Tulum. If you are a bit eccentric, would like a beautiful place to stay with a homey “bed and breakfast” kind of stay, I would 100% reccommend this stay! Our host seemed to always be there, which was super convenient, the air condition ain’t works well, but we stayed in April and the room was breezy enough not to need it. It was a lovely kept secret. The location was great! There was a restaurant attached, and several corner stores 1-2 small blocks away. It was close to several different walking areas for nightlife and restaurant people watching. And it was lively at night, but still quiet in the rooms even with the windows open. Overall, the look of the place was well curated and kitschy which is what attracted us. And we were not disappointed!

Near to Ado station and nice garden inside

The air conditioning works well, the bed was comfortable, the location is very central, close to everything, and the environment with lots of plants was very pleasant. Guillermo is a great guy.

Guillermo, was very helpful and kind, again. We stayed there a second time for a single night. Great value, peaceful and beautifully rustic a la Mexicana

Super cute hotel close to the main street in Tulum. We loved the location and the look of the hotel - you can tell that the place is well cared for! The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a few days. Guillermo gives good recommendations and the café has great food. Would recommend anyone who wants to avoid the hotel zone vibe to stay here.

Great little hideaway from the main strip. Room was very comfortable and clean, location was excellent. Just a couple of blocks from all the restaurants, bars and shops in Tulum. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Beautifully decorated with beautiful colors. Lots of creative hanging artwork throughout. You have to see it for yourself.

It’s a lovely colourful place with a great atmosphere. The rooms (stayed in 2 different rooms) were really comfortable. The beds were just right, we got a great nights sleep. They don’t do breakfast but there’s a cafe attached to the hotel that does the most amazing food, it’s so good that I’d eat there every meal if I could. You near the main street and a very short walk to the bus station.
